DoorPorter Terms of Service
Effective July 19, 2026
1. The service. DoorPorter, a product of Seamless Assist LLC (“we”), is software that helps property owners manage rental bookkeeping and operations. DoorPorter is currently in early access: features may change, and availability is not guaranteed.
2. Your account. You're responsible for your account credentials and for the accuracy of the information you provide. You must be 18 or older and authorized to manage the properties you add.
3. AI-generated suggestions require your review. DoorPorter uses artificial intelligence to categorize transactions and propose actions. Suggestions can be wrong. You are responsible for reviewing and approving them, and for the accuracy of any records, reports, or filings you produce with the service. DoorPorter does not provide legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice. Consult a qualified professional for those matters.
4. No custody of funds. DoorPorter connects to your financial accounts read-only and does not hold, transmit, or control your money. (If payment features are added, separate terms for payment processing will apply and will be presented before you enable them.)
5. Your data. You own your data. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the service (store, process, display it to you and to users you authorize). We may use aggregated, de-identified data to improve the service.
6. Acceptable use. Don't misuse the service: no unlawful use, no attempting to access others' data, no reverse engineering, no use of the service to violate fair-housing, landlord-tenant, or other applicable laws.
7. Fees. Early-access pricing is as agreed with you in writing. We'll give at least 30 days' notice before any pricing change affects you.
8. Disclaimers. The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that data provided by third parties (including bank data via Plaid) is accurate or complete.
9. Limitation of liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Seamless Assist LLC's total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or business opportunities.
10. Termination. You may stop using the service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On request at termination, we'll provide an export of your data in a standard format.
11. Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, and disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in King County, Washington.
12. Changes. We may update these terms; material changes will be notified by email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
